13s/14s on a 6n2

Featured Replies

i wanna get some smaller wheels, because i love the way polos and lupos sit on small wheels, but i'm not sure whether a chassis notch is needed, mines currently on 15s and its pretty low, doesnt seem to be catching, but if i put smaller wheels on would it?

thanks alex

14's matey 13's are far too small and if you want to go seriously low, then a chassis notch will deffinately be needed.

Depends on how low you go, due to the O/S driveshaft being longer then generally you only need the O/S chassis leg notching to accomodate for the driveshaft. But I've had to have both done ;)

Depends how commited you are in going low :p

haha! thats pretty committed! what do you use to stregnthen the chassis back up? because surely its gonna weaken the hell out of it! :p

Notch really matey, the amount you actually take out is minimal.

But you just weld a plate to cover the hollow section matey. And I mean an inch of weld will take a tonne of pressure so theres no problems with integrity!

thats wicked dude, cheers for your help!

anytime dude

if your going low enough for a notch you'll need to raise your engine as well to help correct the driveshaft angle or you'll go through drivshafts like air fresheners
