good places for classic car insurance?

Featured Replies

i may be getting a 1976 bmw 2002 alpina from a friend. its a bit of a project as it is now - which is the only reason why i can afford to buy the car in the first place. I've been trying to get it off him for years, cause he wasnt using it and I've always liked the 2002s

although it is a 2.0l engine it had (113hp) when it was new.. I'm driving a valver now.. but the difference in quotes I'm getting is ridiculous. its cheaper for me to insure a e36 318iS, its even cheaper to insure an s14!!

I'm assuming this is because the usual insurance companies are seeing it as a 2.0l bmw and I'm 19.. and them being the usual robbing c***s that they are they are they assume its fast cause they want more money for nothing.

so I've been trying classic car insurance specialists.. but all the ones I've tried wont insure anyone under 25..

does anyone know of anywhere else i can try?
