Volkswagen Lupo 1.4 SE

Featured Replies

I've got a 1.4 16v 75bhp Lupo, in black with FSH (VW, then a VW Specialist), 4 previous owners and 76,000 miles. It's a good strong runner, really easy to drive and has never let me down in the time I've had it. Comes complete with air conditioning, electric mirrors, electric windows, remote central locking, factory fitted alarm, power assisted steering, factory fitted foglights and also rubber mats for the front. The stereo is a Sony XAV-60 which currently retails in Halfords at £299 (please, see for yourself! I still have the box + instruction manuals too and rather annoyingly paid a fair bit more), subwoofer is a FLi Trap 12, front door card speakers are a pair of 200W Kenwoods. Mot till June, Tax until October (will put 6 months tax on if asking price is met). The headunit and subwoofer/amp were purchased on Christmas Eve 2010. They are an absolutely brilliant addition to the car as unfortunately the standard speakers in these cars are shockingly poor. My reason for sale is that I that I have bought a bigger car. I'm based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire and would like £2,200 without the stereo system (standard unit would be supplied but not fitted) or £2450 with it included. I'll also enclose some photos and can provide more if you're interested.

Like most cars it does have some bad points, I'll be completely honest and tell you that:

Passenger side sun visor mirror is cracked - I will sort this out before sale.

Slight scratch on passenger door (may t-cut out, not had time due to working long hours).

Could do with a touch up near passenger rear wheel (not really noticable).

Currently due a service (can do at buyers expense).

Cracked fog lense.

Slight paint scuff on front bumper (should buff out imo).

Front tyres could do with changing soon (we can negociate on that).

I'll also add that the cambelt + waterpump, new front disks + pads, replacement gearbox fitted (from a 39,000 mile car - have an eBay reciept to confirm this as much as possible) has literally all just been replaced in the last few months and it's had 2 new rear tyres recently as well so will be all ready to go. I'm a busy guy and I don't want your time to be wasted (or mine for that matter!) so if you have any more questions / queries, or want more photos then I will be more than happy to oblige. Viewing would be available and I'd be able to pick you up from the town train station if required. The price is a honest representation of what I think it's worth, as I find it incredibly hard to find one in such good condition overall with the fog lights, air conditioning. It's a reliable car, been well looked after and can continue to be once sold as I'll also give you the Turtle Wax Colour Magic to go with it. The car would also be given a full polish and vacuum before sale (time permitting). I hope this has been of some help to you and wish you the very best of luck in finding a car that suits your requirements.
