Insurance on Imports

Featured Replies

Really struggling to find insurance for a Mitsubishi Pajero I got at the weekend.

Its a Japanese import so all the usual companies are refusing to touch it.

Some companies will insure it with my Dad and Mum on it for a good price but when I add my name the cost goes up by £1000.

Rather shocked as I'm 24 with 4 years no claims, a clean licence etc and I can insure the likes of a BMW M3 for under £1000.

Only semi decent quote I've had is from Adrian Flux, all three of us on the insurance and it allows drive any car TPF&T and even off-roading, but its still on the high side at £720.

Can anyone else suggest a company that would do a good quote on a imported 4x4?

Thanks in advance :)

Gave Sky a try and they smashed it out the park!

Gave me a great price (Beat Flux by almost £300)

I'd highly recommend them and I'll 100% use them again.
