This is my first VW ut I've got loads of ideas and a blank canvas so i thought i would start a project thread.

The car is a P-reg 1.6 8v which i intend on adding bike carbs at some point but not yet, i only bought it this weekend so not much done other than removing all the broken bits and parts that i dont want so its pretty standard at the minute.

I've just bought these as well which are going to go in for powder coating and a set of 165 50 15's putting on.

As for the rest of the car its going to be a little bit of euro and a little bit of retro so ill keep you up to date whenever i have the time to take some new pics :-D

Polovr6man- Not yet I'm still on the look out for some just scouting and getting some prices.

Just a quick update not much been done just removed all the broken bits from the interior that need replacing.

Been to pick my wheels and centre caps up today, and waiting for new front and rear light to arrive through the post, I'll put some pics up as soon as they arrive.

Ha ha I don't know what I'm gunna do with them yet but I'll keep you up to date mate.

not a lot done lately but I invested in a half leather interior from an Ibiza but when I tried to fit it there's too much arsing around to fit them so its all now up for sale!

I've even roped the missis in to do the door cards!!
