Take them to a spring specialist and get them shrunk/coiled down. I took mine to mancunion springs.

Lowering top caps are a worthwhile investment, prob drops another 10-15mm. Available from mr jackson.

Who is Mr jackson?

philJ on the forum. He has a for sale section.

Although the lowering top mounts went a while back, right?

The only ones you can buy are FK iirc, and they don't fit
