i bought these while doing a turbo conversion on the G,soon after that i sourced a set all round so had no need to fit them.......now the g40s gone theres no point holding onto them

Dont look like MK3 to me

The bottom bush requires a spacer.. as ull see on any MK3 rear shock. These dont have that, so wouldnt be a direct fit without a spacer.

If you can confirm what they are... MK1 golf maybe? as they fit if you add said spacer.

there the same as the 6n coilies i just bodged onto my mk2

What are the results like? I'm getting some front coilovers but want rears too.

You need to fit with washers using 6n coilies to bridge the gap between the bottom of the strut and the part of the rear beam it bolts in to as the gap is wider on mk3 and earlier cars...
