was blue/purple now bare metal with satin black bumpers and mirrors, satin black roof (still a little more spraying to do!)

Tinted indicators and 16v rear lights

Morrette front headlights (i think there morettes anyhow!! seem quite rare!)

Momo 280mm steering wheel

Ibiza GTI front and rear seats

sony headunit

2 alpine type r 10 subs in custom built and ported box with vibe monoblock amp running around 800w RMS (badly needs more sound deadening!!)

Pioneers front speakers

plans after finishing bodywork is fitting the 1.8t 20v engine sat in the garage!!

now sitting back on the black wheels, with satin black bumpers and grill etc, still a way to go yet!!

probably the best photo so far to show the kinda effect i want! kinda like brushed stainless!!

It's a Polo Delorean (almost). It looks cool but don't expect it to last long .

the side panels are laquered and haven't rusted at all yet! however the bonnet and boot haven't been touched yet and they have rusted!!

You say that but its been like this now for quite a few weeks and other than a few spots where i haven't particually laquered it very well its not rusting at all!!

Nothing wrong with vauxhalls! lol however they do rust luckily i am fairly handy with the welder! and my Cav Turbo is as mint as you'll find them! having just had a bareshell rebuild!

tbh I'm suprised how much vauxhalls rust, most of the ones I've ever looked at have always had oil leaks! my wife runs a tigra (a rust free one too!), so wasnt slatting vauxhalls, just stating that they like to rust, just like 6ns do! please say the cav is the saloon model and its got the full gsi2000 bodywork.

Thought I recognised this car! I was in Christchurch a couple of weeks ago in my Aunties Focus, we were next to you in some traffic on the duel carriageway leading to that massive roundabout, looked proper sweet I also happen to know that one of your pictures was taken in the stewarts carpark because of the display sheds in the background. lol

It is a genuine Turbo so the upgrade to the GSI they share the same body and kit however this has 4wd and a 2ltr turbo engine

it will have a 400hp engine full steel forged bottom end, td05 turbo custom management etc etc just putting it all back together this week

LOL i work at stewarts hence the picture! yeah the car gets a lot of looks at the mo, prob more because of the rusty bonnet than anything else!
