not sure if I'm gonne let the rest go rusty yet its laquered to hold it at bay! and i quite like the brushed finish!!

the hofele lights are available to buy PM me if you interested

The lacquer is only delaying the inevitable lol

No reason that laquer shouldn't keep it from rusting as it should create a water tight barrier over the metal?

That said its not like 6n's normally need much help in rusting :lol:

Fair play for going balls out with it but I must say imo it would be better bare metal then laquered all over, purposeful rust is so played out

Have you not seen my punisher skull bonnet guy, that was bare metal polished with about 6 coats of lacquer... its now rusty as hell!

with the right laquer and a bone dry surface the laquer should hold off the rust! issue is getting it bone dry!! be a job for next spring summer i think!

Mirror polish was considered! however having seen a mirror wrapped slk recently changed my mind!! looked wank!
