I have a complete engine and fourspeed gearbox removed from my mk1 polo. This polo had the 895cc replaced at some point earlier in its life and replaced with this later 1F polo's 1093cc. Its obviously the earlier mechanical head type.

The engine ran fine when in the car, started on the button, idled fine, didnt smoke too much but i didnt use it a huge amount, however the previous owner said he depended on it and it always pulled through. It probably would need a service by now though. The gears also worked smoothly and didn't jump out etc. I believe it had covered approx 90,000 miles.

It will come complete with carb, manifold, radiator, dizzy, 4 speed gearbox, airbox, basically everything needed to fit into another poorly polo.

I also have a complete mk1 polo exhaust system, from down pipe all the way to backbox, all sections almost new and extremely solid inc. hanger brackets.

£40 for the complete exhaust.
