MK1 Golf Driver

Featured Replies

Here for sale is this Amazing example of a Mk1 Golf,

1.3

MOT: AUG 2012

TAX: 31/03/2012

ready to go!!

mileage: 169,000 will go up slightly due to being my daily(dont be putt off, its been very well looked after)

It is un modified and un molestered, i didnt get round to doing it :(

The car is in excellent condition, inside and out, the Body is SOLID! never been welded and will never need to be, sills are outstanding and all common mk1 golf corrosion areas are solid, i.e spare tyre well, front wings, etc. There are the odd stone chips and car park dings but its a 28 year old car :)

I have only owned this for a few weeks but a change in work circumstances where I have to drive more requires that I need to sell this :(

It drives very well and previouse lady owner, who this car was her daily for five years, spent Lots of £££ keeping it serviced and in tip top order with her husbands being a mechanic, Massive amounts of service history, with stamps upto 2006!

It has had a new headgasket, clutch and cambelt recently, and has MOT until august and 5 mounths tax, SO IS READY TO ROLL :)

dont let the mileage put you off because after all it is stil below average for its age and drives and pulls spot on.

gearbox is spot on, no noises or cluncks

new clutch

good tyres all round :)

Interior:

The interior is in very good condition, working glove box, all heater blowers are working, all accessories work as they should, only down side is drivers seat could do with replacing due to being ripped, see photo.

This car will be ideal for a young VW enthusiast like myself, as is cheap to insure and will suit anyone who admires the MK1 Golf,

This car can really be a show winner, absolutly brilliant motor, just need anouther daily as I dont want to put to much miles on her.

Looking for £1600 ono
