Its a really nice drive, only did a mile though, first decent drive tommorrow :-) . Not going to polo show mate. Everyone is asking me! Reason is, the fuel tank leaks when i have just under 1/4 of a tank or above, and car isnt finished enough for my liking. Need to get my RA's on and possibly lowering kit. And also my fogs, and a grille badge as it doesnt have one. It also needs an oil change, and as i have no wheel bolts, and the badge is in the post and i'm never going to be able to fit a tank and suspension in this weather i cant do a show at the moment. I will be at BVF in a few weeks time though :-)

I've just bought a set of fogs for my g40 and they come with a genuine loom, but I already have a one.. so one will be up for sale if interested ;)

Looks like i wont be getting fogs now mate. VW heritage are total clowns. I waited 2 months for the fogs i ordered, only to receive 1 today and be told the other side was obsolete, when i rang up to complain (again). They also lied about what was written on emails i had right in front of me. :x So i bought £25 of wire, connectors and loom tape and cut holes in a perfectly decent front bumper, for nothing.

When I tried in vw for fogs they had both sides available, they wern't cheap though but the yellow ones were cheaper but discontinued and out of stock

Update time!

Took my BBS RA's to be balanced today with sticky weights on the inside. Cleaned all the flaking laquer off the centre caps, and put the custom stickers on. Then fitted them, with new longer bolts. What a difference over the standard sport raders! It looks really high as it had just come off the jack.

After 8-) :

More pics because i'm so pleased with how they look:

Took it out to a meet tonight, and looking at it parked up there, it looked really good stock height now its settled. It seems to pull it off somehow. So i am thinking seriously about leaving it with all stock suspension. What do people think, is high the new low?

nope. high is still gay

It would look incredible lowered, the wheels look amazing!

NEEDS to go low.

Couldn't care less if its comfy

Please please please keep it on the RA's, and not those other things!

I actually care about comfort after the bouncy crashy ride of the 60/40 kit on my last polo. First time i drove a standard height MK3 was in this (white one was standard when i got it, but drove crap as everything in the suspension was fucked) and i dont want to make this worse to drive. I am trying to find a way of keeping most of the comfort but losing some height, without spending a ton of money  The RA's are staying ;)

YES to RA's staying

Its possible to get some lows and comfort. Not as cheap as a disgusting PhilJ kit though...

HnR's, seriously way better than most.

gay! OEM+ an excuse to be a moaning tart

I've been looking at HnR's. The price though!

I own a 60/40 supersport kit, that i bought off here (Renegade440) but its the sam as the one that went with my white one. Too hard.

Shut up Ben! You know OEM is full of win!

Its awesome coupled with dick head lows and EPIC rare wheels ;)

You say youve looked at HnR but you think they are expensive, if you want this to look OEM and be comfy but also look really nice then they are worth it, you will get the look you want and the comfort you desire.

I know. But money is starting to run out, and it needs other things that are more important first. Maybe when i have a job i will get the HnR's. I'll just have to fit the crashy 60/40 kit i have and live with it, or leave it standard and live with it :-)

Needs lows! Will look insane and you already have the kit!

I will even help you fit it....

RA's look great! Definitely needs dropping a bit though, put the supersport kit on. I have the 60/40 kit and considered buying new when i got my second coupe, not the most comforting ride but it had to be swapped when you consider ease, time and money! Go on mate you know it'll be worth it ;)

It was a good morning for me today. Got woken up early by DHL, but didnt care, as i knew what was in the box:

Fogs and genuine loom from German ebay :-D. Bought Sunday, posted Monday, arrived before 9 this morning. Showing Royal mail how its done!

Massively happy with them. Finally i have fogs! They aren't mint, but have no cracks or scratches to the glass, and no damage to the brackets. Loom is not chopped and is in very nice condition. Got all the correct fixings too 8-) All for £70 posted.

Also got a genuine black front badge, and a spare rear one:

Wouldnt water get in the electrical parts? Dont have a dishwasher anyaway :-) . But they will be getting a clean before i put them on. Got to cut the bumper out a bit more first.

You can take the bulb holder part out?
