i was hoping to get £300 ono for it - but yeah- worst/best case £200 depending on which side of the fence your on : )

i know - its a reluctant sale - my plan has always been to do it up! but never found the time / space / skills etc : )

part of me wants to keep it and find a mechanic down here teach me up on restoring it - the other part is thinking thats not gonna happen : )

Worst part of that fail is the corrosion everything else is an easy fix, if you get some pics up of the corrosion it will probably help you as this will be the thing that may worry potential buyers the most. If I had the space for another car I'd be all over this to stick an afh in it but 4 is my limit unfortunately :(

Dont give up (like i did ) . Get it back on the road. Looks ok, and from your description i expected alot worse. Welding wouldnt be more than a few hundred quid. This looks a very good price TBH.

My girlfriends MK1 Polo polo has jut failed its MOT to the tune of around £500 mostly on welding.

Its sitting on some mk1 golf alloys - runs alright just needs some TLC - rust in all the usual areas : )

Dont have the specific details yet but we are thinking of getting rid and seems a shame to scrap it as theres not many around! ( prob about £200 worth of scrap )

Anyone interested in having a look at it in the Falmouth / Cornwall area!

- great project for someone with the time!
