Alright guys,

I have now got a template (thanks mini-mayhem) for a full legnth engine bay rain tray cover,

For you who don't know what I'm talking about, its a cover that will go right accross the battery/heater-matrix/fuse box to stop it getting wet and generally neaten it up abit.

I have actually changed my plans now, so i won't need one, however i'm happy to cut out some plastic tempplates from the paper on i now have. They will be cut from acrylic/acetal sheet.

How you fix them is up to you, or if you have any ideas put them forward and i will see how suitable/effective it would be.

Price wise i'm thinking around £25 posted for the cover (gonna see how much work they are first)

The covers can then be "covered" in whatever you wish, carbon wrap, faux leather etc.

Anyone want one?

Flat peice yes, would have to be molded to be contored.

without having clips to hold it on, its pointless, I've had a carbon all smiles cover sitting around for ages, but without a way of attaching it, its worse at letting water in that the item it replaces!

So having "clips" makes it water proof?

Like I said, its up to the buyer to fix it , they will be over-size so covering all of the gap, I'm gonna cut one out and see what's what.

no but it means the user can fit seals around the edges, bar the far left and right, so the water would be channeled towards the rain trays.
