And here she is, my first ever Polo :-D

Model: 1991 Polo Coupe

Engine: 1.3 spi ( I'm trying to source a afh 16v conversion on bike carbs, S/S manifold and hopefully chipped :-D )

Suspension/chassis: slammed 60/40, poly bushed up front with G-Laderseite ARB Blocks on the way, and in the making, front lower brace, rear lower brace and front upper strut brace

Brakes: standard until more power, then upgrading to g40 or mk2 golf 16v brakes

Wheels and Tyres: Currently sat on Borbet T 14x7J with 195/55/14 toyo tires (up for swaps for something wide and ghetto)

Exterior Styling: Tinted headlights, removed rear wiper, removed aerial,

Interior Styling: Full GT interior, momo wheel and knob :-D retrimmed door cards and shelf in black fur stuff

ICE and Security: Alpine head unit and that is all.

Comments: I found this car on here a week ago and as it was only down the road (230 miles round trip lol) whet to have a look and after a quick blast round the block, had to have it! I sold my mk1 golf about 4months ago as id thought id had enough of lowered cars that shake your spine every time you hit a drain cover ,but corner like your ass is scraping the tarmac, but apparently not. This car, as the guy who sold it to me said, is a roundabout demon, and it does hold the road fookin well.

Plans: 16v power, uprated sub-frame, g40 brakes, mk1 golf rear coilover, some wide alleycats and just a general tidy up all round (undersealing ect for the winter)

She is pretty tidy all over but needs a small amount of work to get her mint.

Did this used to belong to ro55i ? Nice clean motor when he had it , does it still have the gt gearbox fitted? By the way if you are fitting bike carbs you wont be needing a chip

Got some new photos of her today. Looking good after a clean, polish and some back to black.

Jacked the front up to have a look at the condition of the front frame, and found the steering rod has a massive bend in it.

Is this ment to be bent? The steering was feeling a bit dodgy, but i thought the tracking was just out.

Any advice?

I'm not sure mate. I picked it up off dubst4r from the the other side of Peterborough.

Its a rather nippy peice of kit :-D

and i hadn't thought about the bike carbs/chip thingi, so good point lol.
