BBS alloys

Featured Replies

The wheels that are up for grabs where painted by an apprentice who is a friend of mine.

he works at AE AUTOSPRAYS in croydon

he has worked there for a year now and has started building a portfolio of all of his work so he can get his feet on the career ladder and start climbing. He does all of my wheels and as a few of you lucky sods know the quality of his works is very good

he has my porsche cookie cutters, teledials, chalk board mini wheels, bbs RS (all of which have either sold on here or on wheelwhores) but sadly i will shortly be leaving the VW LUPO SCENE as i sold my lupo last week and i am just waiting for the last payment.

so my last set of bbs wheels are up for grabs to make space as well as free up some funds to buy another car.

the wheels where original polished but the fella i bought them from used a way to course piece of sand paper to clean up some corrosion leaving them dull in patches.

i didnt mind as i was after black centres with a silver lip i just thought clean up the alloy prep and paint them.... so i put my mate to work during his lunch breaks.

He put in the loads of his time removing all of the old paint as prepping the surface ready to paint them RAVEN BLACK with BMW SILVER LIPS

in the photo they have not been lacquers and are missing the BBS BADGES (i do have them in the garage and where only removed so the wheels and centre caps could be painted)

the wheels will be taken back to the AE AUTOSPRAYS to be lacquered and have the final bits and pieces done and will be ready for collection or delievery next week!

as you know he is an apprentice who is learning. these wheels might not be cosmetically perfect when finish and have a couple of marks if any but they will be hardly noticeable

bit of old paint scabs on the far outer lip but once tyres are blown up i dont think they will be noticable

the wheels are perfectly straight and i have replaced the tyres so no more overspray and more tread

only selling them as you all know i have now sold the lupo and am waiting for the final payment on it.

photo shows old tyres and missing the BBS BADGE but i have now changed the tyres and i have cleaned up the original bbs badges ready to go back in

as you can see the finish is superb even without lacquer and the BBS BADGE FITTED!

i am after £290 for them and i can deliever them for an extra £40

open to offers

tyres 185/60 R14 82H

14x7 ET 33 any more information just ask

also possibly px but that depends on if it will fit the new car that i am looking to buy (MAZDA MX5 pre 1999)
