Say hello to car no.4. A 1990 B3 Passat estate 1.6td.

Many moons ago this was our family car,but over time a few things went wrong with it and the milage started to creep up so the parents passed it on to a local friend whos had it ever since. A few years later,I realised I hadnt seen it on the road in quite a while so I set out to see if I could find it. Sure enough,there she was laid up in his yard looking sorry for itself.

So here we are.Several months,a few phone calls,quite a lot of persuasion,and a handshake later. Shes coming home once again.

Hopefully collecting it sometime this week and planning to have it on the road by the end of sept to replace the polo for the winter.(hence the title)

List of plans as long as my arm,but il get to those after the car gets home. Wish me luck.

Barry you hve neglected this thread. Clup polo deserves updates, after your exams of course.

Have love for b3s as i drive one myself as a winter car this one is looking good shame mine is falling apart tho had my bandeds on for a wile and just loved the way they look when low :)

if you move the boost pin round to the stepest bit and wind the fuel screw in, this will rase the idel so wind down as you go untill idel is set corectly and it will be a very diffont beast
