Turbo?

Featured Replies

I have a 1.0l 6n and thinking about putting a turbo from a daihatsu charade on it because a mate of mine has a charade turbo and says it flies through gears and is alot of fun like a go kart...

..just wanna know if a turbo the same or similar can be put onto a 6n 1.0l. and if it can be done what on the car needs to be modified to handle the new turbo??

It's a 1L :retard:

Lower the compression, remap, downpipe amongst other things, and have a go. Won't be 'easy' and if your going to do it you may as well do it to a bigger engine.

just do it to see how long it lasts...

as of current 1L forced induction testing available I'm going for 1.89 miles (data courtesy of Phil).

I'm sure that's what everyone said to philJ when he supercharged that 1.0 mk3. How long did it last before the H/G went, 5 miles or something daft wasent it lol!

He did it for a joke lol.

haha it was funny though!

may handle a little boost just nothing worth the effort for!

Are you guys broken?

There's as much point force inducting a 1.0 than there is a 1.3!

As long as you do it properly!

that was well worth charging that 1l for the banter hahah
