as said in my 1st post, i bought a set of ats cups of ebay, only 3 were usable though so had to buy another one.

once cleaned up they got a shot of primer then it was on to desicions on colour(s)

post-68973-1321303332_thumb.jpg

considered a few different options black or orange with polished dish, or black with orange or green lip, ended up with

evening all, after deciding the colours of the wheels i decided to carry on the green theme, first thing i come across whilst mooching on ebay was a fluro green family guy evil monkey decal, which was bought and fitted to my fuel flap

post-68973-1321474679_thumb.jpg

after that i decided i needed a lil bit more green to add to the theme, so spoke with the signwriter we use at work and he busied himsellf doing this one saturday morning

latest update and how the car currently looks,

about a week ago i decided i wanted my car to be a bit louder, i didnt want a big showing back box, i like the fact the standard one is hidden, so i thought id decat and remove the centre box, you cant buy a decat for the 1.4 16v as many of you probaly know the cats part of the downpipe, so i thought id put my welding skills to the test and weld a straight throught pipe eliminating the pair of them, i done this and regretted it big time it was far to loud and not what i was looking for so, i decided to weld the cat back in and that sorted it out, no centre box gives me a nice raspy noise.

fancied a bit of induction noise aswell cant justify £200 on a carbon CDA kit so bought a cheap universal one of ebay and a green silicone right angle bit of hose, took a bit of fiddling but got it fitted, i run the cold air feed down to the lower front grille, i cut the bits in between the slats to allow the air into the cold air feed.

also gave my rocker cover a quick spray with black paint

post-68973-1321797576_thumb.jpg

couple of weeks ago i purchased a smooth front bumper off louislewin, so last weekend after matt blacking the grilles (theyd been painted the same colour as bumper and it had all chipped off), and fitting the 6n2 gti splitter properly, repostioned my number plate on couple of brackets.

Cheers chaps, apart from going a bit lower, exteriors about sorted for the moment, so turning my attention to the interior now, just bought a steering wheel and boss for it, and a parcel shelf as the one that's in there at the moment has cheap 6x9's that have been badly fitted. Then probaly look into saving for some leather seats and retrimming the roof lining as its got fag burns in it.

quick update, got my steering wheel and parcel shelf, not completely happy eith the steering wheel, will replace it again soon, it was just a cheap mountney steering wheel off ebay as the standard one in it was no good anymore,

got a few plans for it now, although one of them is sell it :| , as said before need some new seats and retrim roof lining, going to tint my front headlights aswell, need to paint the rear bumper, need to roll or get the arches rolled, also needs a thermostat and housing as it's not getting hot, also rocker cover gaskets and sump resealing

Looks good bud, not overly keen on the steering wheel but as you said it was cheap ;d haha

Seems common on the 16v's..mine needs a new rocker cover gasket, thermostat and housing and also thrust sensor - I reckon just get it done and keep it, it's a nice car man :)

The induction kit was something like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARBON-FIBRE-COL...89#ht_562wt_689 then bought a breather filter and a right angled silicone hose off eBay aswell cost about £90 ish in total
