You could use 1mm or 0.5mm washers.

You need to put 1 more washer on the front bolt than the back, to keep the toe in straight.

This is with two 1mm washers on the front bolt and one on the back:

And this is with two 0.5mm washers on the front and one on the back:

How are your tyres looking with that much camber? Wondered with the amount of stretch I have its to dangerous. How much did a notch lower yours by? Dare I say it but its looking higher at the from with the new wheels. cheers

I ran camber for a good few months and it made the tiniest difference to my tyres, wore them down by like 1mm on the inner edge. And the notch doesn't lower it, it just allows you to go lower without your driveshaft hitting the chassis.

And yeah it looks higher splitter wise, but the subframe is closer to the floor and I'm tucking more tyre than I was on the 15s haha

I've decided to destroy the car and run it as low as I can. Taking helper springs out the back. Cutting down the bumper stops. But first a DIY notch by a welder mate. Just wondering what Ill need to do to get a the chassis? Its going be all be done a driveway so no ramps. Thanks.

Helpers are out. Bumper stops arent cut down though. Waiting until after the MOT to see how it sits. Looking into a Sportex centre pipe. Does anyone know the diameter of the exhaust on a 1L 6n2. Thanks

Getting the sportex back box as well and cutting the chrome tip off to keep it hidden?

Tried the 8's on the front.

Bought the exhaust. Abit to loud for my liking so coming off. Up for sale.

Back in the summer.

Need to get the front down but the Joms are wound down all the way.

How do you find it running 165/50 on 8's mate? I'm getting new wheels soon in 8 an it seems 165/50 give best stretch but I keep hearing it's 'safer' to go 175/50 or 185/45 just a bit lost

You dont fancy doing it? I am wanting the same as you. Rim to arch flush. I've heard about a few flip mount mods but never spring cup. Or someone has ta's and has used 9n front springs.

Its still on the car at the moment as I havnt had a chance to take it off. Only ran for a week. Cost me 160 new so was looking for 130 plus postage.

Had to use a bead blaster to get them on. Then just pump them up really high like 40 psi to get them to pop on. Best of luck.

Wound all the way down. Anti roll bar taken out. Gained a mm

When you flipped the mounts did the bottom of the strut hit the CV joint or did you cut the end off. I'm thinking of get some FKs which go lower on the front I've been told.

I took like 2mm off aand re-plated it.. Once flipped raised it about 7mm iirc

It doesn't hit the cv with abit of neg camber

All useful information. Id happily to get this done. But where I live there is no one that has a clue and I dont have the equipment to do it. Would the guy that did yours be interested in doing another set? Maybe shorter springs are the easier opinion. Those coilovers are very nice but worth more than the car its self now. Thanks mate

Dont have a 30mm socket to get the drum off do the camber but wound down as much as possible without rubbing to much. About 20mm on the passenger side and drivers side 30mm. Not sure why this is but sits level now.
