Black VW Golf GTi, originally a 1.8 8v. Now a 2.0 ABF on Bike carbs.

The shell has 253k on

The engine has approx 80K on. No papers to prove this, just the build thread of the guy who did the conversion.

7 Months MOT

3 Months TAX

Bodywork - There is some rust on the car. inner arches, few on the sill area bubbles around the fuel cap and windows. The car looks to have had some paint in its life. Not great though.

The only problem i have with her is some mornings she is a pain to start, This is due to the cold mornings, carbs and then me only travelling a mile to work and switching her off again. No feed going back into the battery. Other then that she's great. Handles well and pulls well.

Parts I've replaces in the time I've had her.

King Lead - the old one had corroded.

Bike Fuel pump

Throttle Cable

Battery

Starter Motor.

Lower Chrome sill trim.

Carb Filters

I don't have alot of history to go with the car. Few receipts and the guys online build thread. The car was stood for a number of months before i bought her.

The only thing i need before the sale is the Logbook as I'm still waiting on the dvla.

£1700 ono. Cars located in Mansfield, Nottingham. Open to P/X too.

Stunning mk1 mate. Besides the rust (which doesn't even look too bad in my opinion) car looks mint, and you're practically giving it away compared to what other mk1s go for these days. Wish i had the money, good luck with the sale anyway dude.

Just an update. I'm sorted with a car now so this will be available after the new year.
