when you remove the bump strips of a 6N2 do they have holes underneith?

Ok so I'm planning on smoothing all my bumpstrips out, bumpers and sidestrips, taking them off is it just a simple yank with the trim tool jobby, or is there more care to be taken?

obviously take some care but you will need to paint anyway
