Far too low Corrado

Featured Replies

Yo,

Me being me i'm always getting bored. No sweat if this goes or not but I fancy a change. This is the ONLY reason for sale.

Right,

1.8 16v "KR"

110k

MOT till October

Tax till Feb

Minimal service history, previous owner lost it (however, I have owned this car twice and there was a stack of history I had when I sold it)

Engine:

Full Top end re-build in Feb this year with a new ported/polished head. All relevant gaskets/belts changed, inc stem seals and valve guides

K&N Panel Filter

Recent replacement dizzy cap/rotor arm, will also be doing leads/plugs

Engine raised on hockey pucks

Recent replacement drivers (longer) driveshaft

All new CV boots before last MOT

Full Scorpion Stainless Exhaust system from front silencer back

Suspension:

FK Street Coilovers up front. All the way down. Bumpstops trimmed in half. Recently Greased.

Ebay coilovers at rear. About an inch of travel left to adjust.

Wheels:

7J Porsche Cookie Cutters with 165/50/15 Bridgestone Tyres

30mm FK Adaptors all round (1 spare c/w new set of bolts all round)

Interior:

Excellent condition black cloth trim.

Momo Race 330mm Wheel

8-ball gearknob

Aiwa Headunit with Aux input (suprisingly good)

Sony (i think) replacement dash speakers

Vibe black air 6x9's in parcel shelf, run through headunit.

Wiring installed for su in boot (no sub)

False carpetted wooden floor in boot with 10" sub-hole cut within

Exterior:

all red hella rear lights

de-wipered rear

front retro fit aero wipers just fitted

Stickers on rear window

Large "low standards" sticker on front

I'd say that this is a very very good condition car for the year. Only 1 small un-noticable dent under the Corrado badge at the rear and no real paint blemishes as such. Front bumper has a small black scuff.

I have recently had a replacement drivers wing fitted and painted (due to vandalism) at the cost of £300 pounds.

One thing I will say due to it being yellow, it has faded in certain places more than others, so the new wing better matches the bonnet than the door for example, but is NO WAY awful, just something to mention.

Bad Points:

Minimal really as i've spent a lot of money recently -

Front splitter cable tied together due to lows damage

Knocking from drivers CV joint, replacement included

Front drivers tyre getting thin on very edge (camber wear)

Wheels are 2 diff colours. Front white, rear blue, need a refurb but not horrific

exhaust rear silencer needs a hanger welding (will get done)

Ride quality is less than good as you can imagine from running so low, buy you guys are used to that right??

Thats all I can think of, i'm being very honest

£1600 please, open to p/x

Here's some piccies for y'all

Cheers Cymro :)

Jord, insurance has always been nasty to corrados, it's a shame. Fully worth it though :)

Really? They mega money to insure! Stupidly high insurance group for what they are!

I'm still interested though if my car sells anytime soon!

if this is still here around the 15th december its a big possibility that i'll be having this off you! working away until then though. nice motor

Fancy selling the wheels and adaptors seperate?

Chronicpolo thats cool let us know.

did you get the info on the lupo mate?

Right I'm saving up for this! I thought the insurance would be a killer seems I'm only 19 with 1 year ncb but it's cheeeaap!!! So if it's still here when I have enough money I'll be having this off you!
