I'm not quite understanding the benefit of these things, to me its on par with dtm mirrors and not oem optional extras and the guy selling them actually lives down the road from me so i could have picked it up in minutes but its just not my cuppa tbh, it cant be to scrimys liking either for that matter if he put it on for 99p

No idea why people are suddenly bumming the fuck out of oem, its the bullest form of modifying know to man. When I hear the term used it brings images of anorakes stood around at shows explaining to uninterested show goers who accidentally caught their attention how relay 99 is gonna be their next ground breaking mod

Depends, if it were a Corrado one (looks like a golf) that'd be nice for bringing the height of the driver's seat down in a Mk2b-3 Polo without changing your whole interior scheme.

Still handy for adding height adjust in a basic Mk2b-3

if you are comparing my car to that red car and saying that my opinion of you will drop dramatically. but that yellow one isn't so bad, i have the pvw with it in and if it had less tatty things like spillters front and back and vents it would be nice

i hate styles, so much defining and limiting for no reason, make a car how you like. but i think oem is just subtle mods with any suspension or wheels you want

And yep prefer the red one, looks a lot like G40jon's G. The eBay one needs colour coded GT/g40 arch trim's and loose that stupid steering wheel (why was the golf given such a shit steering wheel?), slap it with the lowering stick and dump a 16v in it would be do me nicely

Oh, i think my bargain kicks ass: Set of lupo steels, with 4 brand new goodyear GT2's on them, and the lupo trims, £15.00. Now that was daylight robbery . Bought them over 2 years ago and put them on my Mk1, they're still going now, on my Mk3. Not forgetting the NOS Mk1 polo Hella grille for £14

My one and only eBay bargain was a set of minted 5 series BMW wheels with brand new Michelin tyres for just £40, was like 2 years ago now though.

I use eBay alot and apart from the above never get any luck or even get good money for the things I sell.

A few times I've spotted a bargain with little time left, put in a bid then all of a sudden I get outbid by miles.

But if I'm selling something I just get people putting silly little bids in, my worst is I sold a complete Mk4 16v (no MOT or tax) for just £84 :(
