This is a classic mk2 polo formel e.

It has the 1.1 litre high compression engine, 3+E gearbox, shift light and MPG meter, done around 80,000 miles.

The car is completely original and unmolested, the only new things are the clutch and petrol tank.

It currently doesn't have an MOT or TAX because there are a couple of things it needs doing to get it driveable.

Front brakes need bleeding,

Needs a new gearbox.

Carb needs tightening on the manifold and the accelerator and choke cables need attaching and timing needs to be set,

The outer arches are also a little rusty where mudflaps used to be, I have removed the

flaps and a little filler and sanding should sort it out, nothing structural though, doesn't stop the

car being used.

Apart from the above, the car is very clean with only a few minor bumps as you'd expect.

It is a rare version of the polo and is by far the most fun car I have owned, the engine is unbelievebly revy and makes

a wicked mechanical noise!! It was a daily driver until September when the clutch went, it has since been replaced but I have recently moved to London so no need for a car. I was in the process of refurbishing the bushes on the suspension etc. but lack of funds and life got in the way so it just needs a good home a a few hours to be enjoyed again.

YES that is blue carpet and blue vinyl on the seats, it has that amazing old car smell and a manual choke, not to

mention the original Wolfsburg steering wheel, and notice the single wingmirror to "reduce wind drag" and make it more economical (You get my point, this car ooozes character)(and the patch on the drivers seat is just were it has worn, the car is actually incredibly clean inside.)

Ite this thing has gotto go, its such a shame as the chassis has no rust anywhere and its higher quality Wolfsburg steel, erixtar PM me if you want the clocks i'll be keeping some other shit from it also, post in the breaking section, before I wave good bye to a fine example of a very early mk2 as it decends into the car graveyard (cry)
