I know that a 1.3 Genesis was IC 6 when a 1.3 CL was a 7, GT was a 14.

But a GT bready was a 9 :p

auto correct fail

G40 was 14

6n2 16v is a 10 on the old system 20 on the new system. mk2 ranger was a 6 on the old system.

Cheap as chips for me on my Ranger compared to some of the daft quotes people are getting.

My 1.3 '94 cl bready is group 4. But I hear theres two groupings that rate different?

absolutely, people think that the insurance group is the be all and end all of insurance cost but unless its ridiculous it doesn't bother me at all and I've never paid over 1400 for insurance.

insurance groups are complete bollocks, i can insure a group 12 car cheaper than a group 4! :?

Insurance groups mean sod all.

On the old system a Saxo VTS, VW Scirocco Scala and a Polo G40 were all the same group, 14.

When I was 21 I could insure a VTS and a Scirocco for under £1000 but not the G40.
