Windows go down very slowly then when you try and bringing (eletric windows ) them back up its like they have no power to come back up is it the regulator or something ? Cheers

There are a few 'could-bes'. It could be a poor electrical connection, the flexible connection near to the door hinges would be my first port of call. However, it is a bit of a coincidence if both sides failed at the same time, so it could be a supply fault, anywhere between the fuse and the switches.

It could also be a mechanical fault behind the door card, but again, a bit of a coincidence.

If you do end up removing the door cards, you could try spraying the mechanism with silicone spray rather than WD40 or the likes, as it tends to stay around longer.
