After a brief stint without a VW I am finally back, after a few days searching unearthed this little beauty, made the call and the owner had all the right answers so took a drive up to Andover. The car was solid and after a bit of bartering got the car for £1150 (was up for £1500).

so yesterday a woman decided to reverse into me scraping and scratching front bumper and smashing indicator light.

so into the body repair centre today to get a quote guess this might be perfect time to get them to remove the small car park dents too....

I feel for you i had some girl from my college bump into me luckily almost no damage so i was alright, and i was tinking about getting one of those remote central locking kits my friend has one on his lupo, just not sure on it, let me know how it goes

Not Updated This In A While

so the car went in to be repaired here are some images of the car in the bodyshop -

Got the car back... just a shame as its easy to see the difference between the old and new paint.

Also Bought some new front speakers and tweeters....

- sanded down, primered and repainted the handles.

Now Bought Some Replacements From VW as not happy with the result.

Also Car Had Its MOT... now for a car this age i was extremely happy... failed on 3 tyres and nothing else.

Then my new wheels arrived...

I'm Thinking Polished Lip... Silver Centres then a bright vibrant colour airbrushed into where it says Borbet.

Test fit of wheels, waiting on coilovers will be a little while though.

spacers needed definately.

Got a friend with a 2.0ltr cupra... he is thinking of stripping it to rally and has offered me the interior if he does... for £50 so if and when he does ill be snapping these up.

COILOVERS

Brand New and a bargain. Friend bought them and then sold his polo before getting a chance to fit... £90 bargain for new coilovers.

Fitted them (didnt bother with pictures... you have all seen coilovers being fitted by now lol)

need to play around and adjust them still.

also cleaned the car today ... waxed and polished....

took a few snaps... i am no photographer though.

This is the car as it stands... more updates soon.

got the machine polisher out today... got this pic after the wash...but ran out of light so will get some of the car after the polish in morning...

got bored and decided to have a play with tweeter covers... ill get bored and go back standard soon i reckon lol

New CD Player installed going to order my JVC KS-BTA100 bluetooth adaptor on payday and pressed plates.

Did you have to take the door cards off to take these off? I tried taking mine off a little while ago by just taking the two bolts out but that only seemed to remove the inner part.

take the whole door card off and their is 5 screws holding the handle in place... took mine off again to matt black them today and carbon wrap some bits...

and thanks mate trying to do little bits ... as well as the norm lower, wheels etc

time to get polishing... first ever attempt and this was the result after just half hour will finish on the weekend

and now for my bargain i call it a bargain because its free lol

carbon fibre forced air induction kit

some polishing left to do...

rocker cover and a cover for around the air filter... mirror finished battery cover is on route spray some parts blue and engine bay will be sorted for the minute

borbets all ready for a refurb, although cant decide what to do. ideas people?

recieved offer on scalas that i simply could not say no too so they were sold after being on the car no more then a week.

also started spraying some interior parts.

big fan of banger racing and stock car racing in general, took a trip to mendips saturday and spotted this little beauty.

few updates car is going in a different direction now as i got bored of the borbets..... will be saving for some new wheels

cars changed a bit lately, got some rx2's to run for the minute as i sold the borbets.

6n wing mirrors are going on once they been sprayed, if i dont like them easily swap back just dont think I've seen it done before.

bought spare door wiring looms as you have to cut up the wing mirror switch so though id get spare ones.

3.5k hids going in soon.

then got to sort out engine, cambelt kit, clutch kit and re seal the rocker cover.
