Motor Trade Insurance?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Currently looking at getting trade insurance quotes for my upcoming renewal.

Had a reasonable quote (all relative to the amount of cars I currently insure on a multi-car policy) with Clegg Gifford.

I have also enquired with Tradex & Peacock insurance.

Some but not many Trade Insurance policies will cover hobbyists.

Anyone got the names of companies they have used so I can enquire please, my renewal is due on the 15th!

Thanks :)

I posted on your last thread then it just went :S

I would appreciate any advise people have on trade polices.

Never had one before but could really do with one, don't really know where to start or anything.

do not ever EVER go with Peacock, i am with them currently and they are so so bad, i can not even type all the problems i have had, my renewal is in March so not long to wait until i can get a real company to insure me

i will be interested in who you decide on!

i think it was moved by accident?

Twas I, sorry dude I misclicked - pming an explanation now.

The bloke I used to work for was with Footman James, might work well for you because they were understanding about his large fleet of Audis.

I'm with broker 'quote me today', and policy with liverpool victoria...

i phoned up, and said i do alot of homers as part time work, and need to be covered for customers cars, & also buy and sell cars occupationally from my home address.

covered on any motor vehicle up to 7.5t recovery etc - (excluding imported jap crap, and supercars)

unlimited cars on policy at same time, spouse covered on all cars and 'customers' cars too, motor trade use, and social domestic and pleasure .

Feel free to give us a try.

You are welcome to drop me a PM with your contact details and brief outline of your requirements.

Thanks

Peter best insurance!

Can you still build up no claims on those tho? I've read some where (no idea how true it is) that on classic policies you can't use any no claims bonus

Try Connect Insurance on 01782 66 55 41 or

0500 280 281 - Freephone

Worth a punt and they gave me a really good quote through MMA

IN OCTOBER THIS YEAR BROKERS ''QUOTE ME TODAY'' QUOTED ME £550 THIRD PARTY ONLY (SDP PURPOSE )AS MANY VEHICLES AS I LIKE. WORTH A TRY.

WELL DONE SIR
