I had a mars bar in the boot, and went to eat it during the coldest days (-20 all week) stuck in traffic, lets say had i thrown it at someone it possibly would have killed them.

I gave the nutrigrain bars a miss rather than break my teeth.

Tbh judginf by forcasts and what weve had so far i dont think its going to be as bad as last year, i hope not anyway, i bought a 2 litre bottle of water from a petrol station, left it on back seat while i went in the pub for 20 minutes for a game of pool and a pint, came out and it had all frozen solid! absolute madness last year :/

Being out of fashion is very important in these Winter months.

Stretched, budget, summer tyres with coilies wound all the way down and four wheel alignment not done..... wonder how many of those will be carving about on the winter ice.

Decent window scraper and a bit of common sense is all i have ever needed.

So far I've got a tow rope, jump leads (had them anyway), heated scraper, normal scraper, nearly empty can of de-icer and an old bed sheet over the windscreen.

I just can't picture how putting on a set of pants that were in fashion in the 70's would help me when I'm stuck in snow. Oh well each to they're own, personally i'd have a flare gun at hand just incase.

just lol!! or you could always go to halfords and get a door lock heater which i have in my toolbox at work well worth a few bob, but i have central locking so dont need it

Hate to tell you this but central locking mechanisms can freeze.

keep the door rubbers clean n dry or they could freeze to the door and get damaged

also could be worthwhile checking the gearbox oil level for the winter,ice and snow,no traction,lots of frantic wheelspin will soon kill a dry gearbox

My mate had a Justy and it was one of the best car I've ever know. It was unkillable.
