really good example, wouldnt have went with the oval exhaust - have a look at mine, doesnt cost much to cut and raise it into the valance a bit :) you have any bother with speed bumps?

understand your insurance :S mines is the 1.4 and I had to be a named driver to get insured - otherwise it would have been 3 grand! Forking out more than the car cost annually is ridiculous.....bloody insurance cockroaches!

nice car mate! mercato blue is pretty snazzy :p general speed bumps i have to go slow over, but the monster ones i have to avoid! (N) i would highly consider going around with no insurance if i thought i could get away with it the amount they sting us is a fricken joke!

My 6n2 is a standard se with a honeycomb grille, but this makes me want those wheels. Love the bbs style wheels. they're nice!!

Got round to Lowering the front a tad more, and also fitting a GTI Splitter on :)

Want to do more work, but not sure what to do .... I'm quite liking it at the moment! :)

Urm a suggestion is getting the stance perfecto, not that it is now, but u know what i mean, the wheels could be spaced out a bit, to get them sitting nicely, maybe go a tiny bit lower, this is all in my own opinion.

i've put some a set of recaro seats in from a golf gti.... and got a double din cd player in.... i've been thinking of doing some interior work, but haven't really seen anything really inspiring on here :/ i want to send my wheels outwards, but haven't really looked into spacers, i think i might :)

Few weeks ago, out on a small cruise around my hometown, my 'mate' decided so race ahead of me, and pull a handbrake turn right in front of me.... being in the rain , he pulled it off quite nicely, only catching the front end of my car, as i couldn't stop in time

Pissed off wasn't the word.... i was livid!

£80 and 18 hours later, a very Loyal garage got me back on the road

I have got my hands on some 20mm Spacers, so fitted them to the back, but the arches where sitting right on the tyre...... so had to take them off :(

might just slam it now

Thanks mate :-) I know, but I've just had 4 new tyres put on, costing me £250 .... I should have got some stretch whilst I was putting new ones on -_-

could you tell me how you got the bump strips off the bumpers?

do they just pull off or do they need to be unclipped from behind the bumper i amd having mine colour coded aswell

my mate said that they would probably break or bend if they weren't pulled off properly, so i bought a whole new set of VW ..... if i had to do it again, instead of colour coding, id smooth the whole car. Just a thought for you

dont have a clue mate, i just bought a 'boot popper' off ebay works fine for me, only if the car had better struts, it would push it self up, instead of me opening it after pushing the button.

looking nice so far , insurance is always a killer for younger people and first time drivers , and your quote was so high , roll on no claims bonuses just never crash . as i bet you haven't declared your mods at all and are most likely voiding every scrap of insurance you have , so be careful :) keep up the good work though , i would personally cut your rear bumper and push your exhaust up a little ,

nah, haven't declared anything.. fuck that, got stopped by the rozzers, and they just asked me who did my mods, i said i bought it like it and they fucked off

i was thinking of pushing my exhaust up, but haven't had the time at the moment...
