its a metal sliding sunroof so i asume its the same I'm sick of getting wet to the point I'm actually contemplating putting gaffa tape on my bloody roof

I think that's been the pretty standard repair for sunroofs for some time. Just get some tape down on it until you can get a replacement, not like you're going to be using it much in the winter anyway.

I got a genuine one from vw. One of the last ones. How much you will to spend?

I'm willing to spend anything i dont want it to leak and i dont want to gaffa my sunroof as then i have to clean all the glue from the car
