hi there, I'm fairly new to the forum idea, but I'm no stranger to cars as I'm a mechanic. as above i have a polo 6n2 gti, which has coolant pipes running through the throttle body, i have an alternative throttle body which has no coolant pipes running through it which i would like to fit, all the dimensions, fixings and electrical plugs are the same, its just I'm not sure whether the coolant temperature running through the throttle body controls the high idle when the car is cold? and if so will the body without the coolant just run a low idle all the time or will it cause running problems?

It wont cause problems but it wont be the right tb for the car so it wont run properly.

right part for the right car an all.
