Was puttng some wheels on a 6n2 n the bolt snapped flush.. what can i do? Its the drivers side rear btw

It should just unscrew with your fingers. There's no tension on the bolt anymore because there's no thread.

Just get a pry on it and it'll come out.

It was probably over-tightened.#

As there is no longer any load on the bolt, take a centre punch and a small hammer, centre pop the broken bolt near to its outer edge ( but not close enough to stake it to the brake drum); Place the tip of the centre punch in the 'pop' that you have just made in the broken bolt, hold the centre pop at about 30° and tap it with the hammer in an anti-clockwise direction.

It WILL unscrew quite easily.

new drums arnt that much if for some reason its stuck solid.

I cant get a grip on the bolt as its sat flush with the hub... Il give your ideas ago

Whip the drum off and weld a nut on the stud from the back.

If i was to take the drum off how would i go about doing it?

Big nut in the middle, just dont snap it.

Yeah, the other half of the bolt should be poking out the back then if it's flush at the front..

If you have a Dremel, grind a slot in the surface and turn it out with a flat-head screwdriver.

Another point which comes to mind, is that if, as is quite likely, the bolt snapped due to over-tightening, there is a good chance that the other bolts are overtightened too, so to prevent possible wheel loss, it may be a good idea to change the set.

If one bolt is lost or broken and the others are at the correct torque, there is a good chance that remaining three would retain the wheel, but with one broken bolt and three grossly over-tightened, there is an even chance that the remaining three would also break, maybe when cornering and the bolts are under more load. (One at a time, if you are lucky!)
