Looks good buddy. And yours has changed a little bit... It's now infront the garage waiting to remove and fit its New engine. Iv had to put off the project as Not Only a lead but got a grass tracker too so money's tight. But it will get done ... Eventually. Looks Good tho buddy. Keep up good work. same dude! But really wanna make sure everything is spot on! What bolts did you use to hold the fly wheel on are the AFH and mk3 stretch bolts to short? Also i could be a massive bellend the mk2 vaccum dizzy the rotor arm doesnt continuously spin only does like 180 and then stops and i can spin it back the oppsite direction 180 is this normal?

I'm running the mk4 flywheel bro!

my dizzy did that when i took the vaccum advance off then put it back on when i was bored. one of the screws were too long so it stuck out and the rotor arm got stuck on it!

the colour the engine bay is going pictures dont do the colour any justice its still wet and needs lacquer but hopfully looks good!

Iv been sorting out hideing the wiring today (LONG!!!) I'm not sure what i can 100% remove so i may have to cut out whats not needed once engine is in and running

what the fuck did he do to it, when i sold it it has a slight bend in the lower slam panel that runs under the lights. looks like its been hit with the engine when it was taken out for a rebuild !!

they are not hard to get hold of and not to hard to get out, you need a spot weld drill bit and a decent drill. thats about it really. i replaced one on my first polo GT back when i was 17 took me a weekend to get it done. take the wings off the front bunper all the lights and wires that run through it then just drill the spots. place the replacement in and puddle weld it in. just make sure at all times u have measured and clamped it in place before welding. just make sure u get the ident plate of the old one which i forgot lol

Thanks bud I'm not really to worried about fitting it just removing it but sounds simple by what your saying! I'm finding it hard to get one as no one will remove it from cars they are breaking kinda lame :-/ hopefully be a straight forward job i will spray it my self as you only see a tiny bit. I now have the flywheel and clutch on. Gearbox has a leak but have orderd a gasket so hopefully will sort it! Also got a gearbox rubber mount will need to get that on to!
