going to be putting my allows on my polo when i finish refurbing them but need some new tyres and the only two i can find in the size above are pirelli which are more than i want to spend really or sonar, have never heard of them before are they anygood? or can anyone lead me to any other places to get tyres from

I`ve been running sonars for a while and just bought 2 more today, and not had any issues with them there not the best but cant complain for the price i get them at trade at just over £30 a tyre.

Might also be worth a mention that they are an M+S tyre as well.

best way of getting the pirellis is to have a look on ebay for siecento alloys on ebay. there is a guy who brakes little fiats and oftem lists individual wheels with tyres fitted for about 50 a wheel. I bought 2 off him a month ago for 90. tyres were only 3 months old, so nearly full tread. sold the bare alloys on for 20, so the tyres effectively cost me 70!

the sonar tyres are pretty good though. i wouldnt buy the pirelli tyre new over the sonar tyre as its not masively better. if anything it might not be as good going on the reviews I've read for the pirelli p6000 which is the tyre they do in 175/50 r14
