GSF Online?

Featured Replies

Just wondering how people get on with the 'new' GSF online site?

I filled my basket with brake bits. Then went to 'purchase.' Upon doing this nothing really happened. No error message. When I check the 'orders' section there is nothing. I expected an online checkout that would want to take my bank card details etc?

I've had no problems, it's not the best laid out site but it works for me.

I've had nothing but trouble, very poorly designed site, wont even let me log in anymore so I've given up with it.

You guys had a look at Andrew page web site they do not have a parts ordering vrm look up as such but they do have a tech library which is free , you just sign up ,it got tech info from suppliers like febi Bosch pirsburg and other really good !!!

I had issues ordering a fuel pump for mine. IIRC, I had an error message but it didn't give me any way of sorting it out. I gave in and rang them instead, far less fuss!

Can't say i'm a fan, it's pretty clumsy.

i had issues (i posted a few weeks ago about exactly the same thing) a couple of days later it finally allowed me to log in!

still doesnt have as much information as if you called the branch but is ok if you're trying to get an idea if they would stock your part.

the solution to all your GSF online woes is WWW.EUROCARPARTS.CO.UK

Not when they're charging £50 extra for the same part they ain't!!

^^ price matching?

After a previous error made with an incorrect fuel tank, I wasn't giving them a third chance!

you don't have to be qualified in anyway to work in retail, however someone might not make the wrong choice with parts if they care enough.

the guy at my ECP is awesome.

Not impressed with having to sign up, just to see their stock and prices.

Though i've found a few things cheaper than ecp, just window shopping.

also there is club polo ECP discount now.

ECP are twice as expensive on most of the components I am looking at. I keep getting 'There is a problem with your order. An order exists for user 'tribeca86'!' on any computer I try. Friend gets the same error on his account. I've emailed them for now, will wait and see what happens. Pretty poor show though, had £150 order waiting to go. Not got a branch locally so online is handier. Oh well!

It asked me to sign up so I won't use it any more. Hate signing up for these things just to have a look. The sites always been crap

ECP by me is pretty good.

The GSF is something else, you can go in with the right part number, the old part in box for the guy to see and still end up being handed the wrong part., there is one guy there that is shit hot with his parts knowledge, even rang the ECP next door once to ask if they had something in stock because GSF didn't.

Now with the CP discount its a no brainer.

I emailed them. 30 mins later I get a reply saying the secure checkout had timed out on a previous visit causing an issue with session ID's not matching. 10 mins after that I got a message saying the issue had be resolved. GSF customer service = 10/10!

Basically the same. Lost my custom purely on that dam sign up bollox.

And ECP are always having 20-30% off sales.
