Cheers mate. I've still got the old wheels but I'm looking at selling them to buy some brand new wheels for summer :)

Ah i see still lovly tho

Personally I would do a gloss black roof.

I know you said earlier you like all red without being broken up by black, but i've seen a few red polos with it, including my mates old one, which looked soooo nice.

Other than the laquer peel its a really nice car you got :)

Yeah I was thinking about a black roof but I'm not sure yet. I'll see how much money it will save me on a respray. Cheers :)

rap the car :D or well the roof.

I thought about wrapping the whole car but it's too expensive for what it is seeing as they are only supposed to be temporary and I heard they scuff up quite easily. I think it will have to be a full respray in flash red

Only a small update, resprayed my lower grills, sprayed my rear view mirror black and decided to try something I hadn't seen before and spray my wheel bolt covers red. Looks a bit cheap but at least it's different

And something I've wanted to try for a while

i think the wheels on the rear suit it more but thats just my opinion :)

the BBS RX2's have to be one of my all time fave wheels, BBS CH have to be my fav

see if you can get a set in 16in, then it will be the definition of bang tidy

I have the rx2 in 16" 4x100 on my 6n2 looks sweet, rolling with the black and polished for winter them refurb them when its in for air :) people like the wheels to be fair and they are not fake splits :p

Yeah I do like the rx2's and think I might end up refurbing them and using them as winters. But I am a sucker for dish so might have to sell the other ones and get something new. 16's look good on yours but I've always loved the look of 15's on a 6n2 and i've got enough problems with scrubbing anyway. Cheers guys.

think red centres with polished lip on the rx2 will look nice on red car

I only scrub a bit, but the car is more of a bit of fun and a hobby than a driver tbh

Had a couple of days off work so got a few things done. Haven't got round to taking many photos but will leave you with this one for now

Keep forgetting to update this. The latest things I've done are restore my headlights, spray my tweeter covers black, make a false floor for the boot so my sub fits better and cables are hidden (will get made properly at some point) sort out my wheels and got two tyres for the front (rears to follow) and a bit of engine bay painting

looks good mate :) loving the new wheels! what other plans have you got for it?

Cheers bud. Full respray in flash red will take place early this year when the weather gets a bit better; possibly a set of gti leather seats or cupra half leathers and a set of new wheels hopefully in time for show season as well as a few other bits.

Finally finished refurbing my winters (bit late now I know) after a lot of swearing and unnecessary expense. Was going to have a polished lip but I got lazy and seeing as they are only winters I thought I'd go for a painted silver lip and something a bit different to the norm for the centres. I wasn't too keen to start with but they've grown on me

Engine bay is getting there too

Personally I think it looked best here

With the red nut covers and cream wheels looks more like your getting bored and trying to do/change stuff instead of calling it a day.

I'm just trying to be different to be honest. The red wheel bolt covers are gone and the wheels were in need of a refurb and i didn't want to do them the same silver/black/anthracite that everyone else does. The photo's really don't do them justice either but thanks for your opinion.

No way did you take the glove box out to get the sub cable through! That's a mission in its self... I think it's 32 torx screws for that!? Shoulda took a stanly knife to the insulation thing and stuck your hand up :)
