Thanks lads.

Getting remote locking and central motors installed soon. It is quite an expensive job but worth it as I am really tired of making sure that all doors are locked etc.

Another VAG driver. on here. looking good man, i just realised I've never changed my spark plugs

Love the way you list all the parts at the start of each post :-D

That's some very neat carbon wrapping too, like it!

Seen these for sale for 175 but new tyres are required the width of the wheel is definitely not attracting me but a 15mm or 20mm spacer could fix that so still not sure but anyway here is the wheels DSCF0393.jpg BTW not sure about the center bore if it would fit my polo.

I think the diameter of a 'new' mini hub is 57.0 the polo is 57.1... so i dont think they would fit. Unless you know someone to bore out the center of the wheel a mil.

On another note... i think adjustable coilies are about the same price as the wheels your looking at :-D

Won a bid on these 50 pounds probably overpaid a bit I think at the end when I restore these alloys they will come out at the same price as brand new Ronals LS but hopefully it will be worth it at the end.
