Hi, long time no post.

Long story short- I have moved to London. Live 5 min walk from my new job so don't need a car. But miss being able to 'pop out'. Supermarket missions are crap on foot.

I have 4 cars:

Mk1 Derby- erm, in a lot of bits.

Mk2 Loon GT- Low, so won't get on drive. Not a chance.

Mk1 Golf Cabby- roof will get slashed in about ten milliseconds here.

Lupo- on the verge of blowing up so kinda gave it away.

Of the list I think loon plus hardcore steering lock is best bet? Might get window broken but I'm not silly enough to leave anything in the car to get nicked. Has been sleeping in lock up for 2 years. Need some inspiration to get it out of hibernation so give me your opinions. Shell isn't amazing, will need welding to rear of sills but know an Iranian who might help with that. And have a unit too.

Get it back on! If you miss driving it then why not?! I'd happily drive to the shops or work if they were 5 minute walk away if I had a Loon like yours!

some of my quality photography skillz there haha! the loon needs to happen again, easiest thing to get rocking over crimbo too out the lot!

as for security when its parked off, whip the king lead off and put the steering lock on. if some mugs gonna break into it, they are gonna do it regardless, just make it difficult for them to nick it.

even taking out the odd fuse is normally good enough to stop any would be tea leaf making a quick getaway!

So, spent the last 3 days welding and painting. Yep, just worked 50+ hours a week for the last 6 weeks then spend my week off 14 hours a day on the car. Yay!

It was good to be out in the 'loon again after so long!

Now rockin early spec rear bumper, all the trims and retrimmed the coupe rear bench bit so houndtooth is all good. Oh, and fitted new rear badge, a stereo and centre console woo. Oh and retinted the rear lights. Need new ones though as they're a bit smashymcfail.
