hello all!

new to clubpolo..

just bought my first car and that being a 1988 mk2 breadvan, completely standard.

soon to change that..

heres the ebay pictures, ill post some more when i get some more bits done,

and some pictures of the carb build in the next few weeks, and other little extras,

love to hear any advice/tips, on the motorbike carb build, styling and anything else that comes to mind,

let me know what you think!

looks nice get them bump strips off and rip the centre console (and glove box n cubby hole ) out (pics in my build) and get some more pics up .

bump strips will be off tomorrow mate, struggling for time at the moment with work/weather/daylight

yeah man, i was out in it yesterday, got the drivers side bump strips off and my hands and feet felt like they was on their way out! haha so i called it a day, try to get a bit done on the christmas break from work,

hoping for no snow!

Near louth, in lincolnshire mate, where abouts are you at?

Yeah bit of love and some money spent on her, and she'll be ready for ED38 haha!

I'm near northampton so if you ever passing . nice price for her . I'm trying to get mine all done for the polo show so giving myself alot of time to spare hopefully . your lucky mine was owned by a farm worker and was very very muddy inside. have you unearthed any horrors yet ??

yeah same here, not to much body work wise, few patches of rust that need a clean up..just styling and the carbs that I'm sorting for the shows, and some people dont know what they own half the time :lol:

as for the horrors, not as of yet, the only one thing is the standard pierburg carb..what a terrible piece of engineering they are. just driving thems a challenge.

was just gonna leave my carb not too sure about adjusting it etc . have you checked the battery bay attenborough would have found some new species digging around in mine. yeah I'm thinking the 60/40 drop on mine .

oh lovely! haha think I'm going 60/60 wouldnt mind 80/80 but the wheels I've got lined up wont fit going that low :(
