Hi everyone i'm looking for "Tex"

He was a dark blue Polo MK3 or mk2f as some call it...... saloon with the last 3 letters TEX on the registration.....

origianlly on starmags then i think classics??

Anyone got any ideas let me know or if you are the owner would you like to part with it so he can come home?

Lol my old car, bought it off an old lady in Norwich for £250, slammed it and slagged about in it for a while. Then got bored of it and swapped it for a mk2 golf lol, last I saw of it was that day.

lol....wasn't slammed when i bought it....hahaha dam that would of saved me some money.....

when i got it,it was on standard steelies and standard ride hieght exhaust hanging off and a messy interior...so i bought a new 1 litre engine with 64k on the clock put it in, lowered it 90 all round put the starmags on and red rear lights, pressed plates and exhaust tip......

did you swap it with a guy called martin from north wales?

Indeed I did, swapped for a Jade Green mk2 Golf. I believe it was outside the train station in Rugby lol.

Is that who you got it off? Was definately slammed in my possession. Guess they must have returned it to standard then? Did it still have the GT interior?

na man, standard light grey stuff!!! i put MK2 golf gti seats in!! it was only about 40mm he said there was a dent on the drivers door from tesco's but looking at your other post the dent was there when he had it.....

he sold that to a guy from around my way with a 1.3 gt engine which had blown it's head so it was looking very sorry itself......

YES !!!! i had it last before i sold it to someone for 400 who then sold it on to someone for £1000 apparently (bullshit).

i bought it oct 2010 and it was a bad of wank, had £300ish of welding and other thing for m.o.t it leaked petrol everywhere and one door was a different colour but it was my first mk3 and i loved it lol. i had to sell the starmags to a mate to get pay for the m.o.t then eventually i put the ats classics on.

sold it in feb this year as lots of little things kept breaking and id had enough, fuckin great car though

yeah the door was a white one oeiginally i was going to get it sprayed up properly if i still had it!!

loved that maritime blue....just want it back!! even with all its problems!!

it was a great car even with the dodgy door, i would without a doubt have it back if i didnt already have another mk3 saloon.

and is it deffinatly maritime blue or is it windsor blue, i was thinking of getting my new saloon painted in the same coulor but that may be a bit wierd

sure i read somewhere this car got broken have you done a vosa check on it to see if it taxed or not ????? is,nt this the one that needed a load of work for the mot when you sold it
