Tax on 6n 16v

Featured Replies

Going to be sending off the paperwork to notify the DVLA about my engine swap and i'm guessing they will base the tax band on that of the donor car?

Just wondering what a years tax is on a valver?

If it's pre 2001 and under a 1.5L it'll be £130 if I'm not mistaken.

that's the same as what i'm paying now (still registered as standard mk2 1.3l), i can't see it being the same amount with an AFH lump tbh

older cars are calculated depending on engine size under 1600cc is the lower bracket, so yes it would be the same as your 1.3

interesting, so does that mean if i tell then about the avy crank it'll still be cheap tax? :p

pre 2001 is based on engine size.

petrol up to 1549cc is 130 a year, over is 215 a year.

changing to an AEE costs me 85 extra a year in tax haha, was easy to swap over though, done through local DVLA and got a 2 day turn around, see stickied guide

tell me about it

santa has opened his sack and slimed me with a tax reminder, tax runs out new years day

s to the o to the r to the n
