Hey, i've fitted a philj kit to my MK2 Bready but because it was second hand, i have NO IDEA what height it is :/

if you have a mk2 that is standard height can you do me a favour?

Could you measure from the floor to the centre of the arch at the front and at the back (ie. in line with the centre of the wheel)

This way i can compare to mine and work out how low it actually is!

post a pic up of your car. basic rule of thumb. if you still have 40-50mm of arch gap, it'll be a -40mm kit, 20mm gap, probably a 60/40 kit. no arch gap 80mm kit

just looked at your build thread. looks like an 80mm kit to me. back need raising a touch imo

Looks a touch lower than my mk3 bready, so I'd say 80mm on the front.

thats what it looks like atm, there isnt any negative rake, its just the way its parked.

I know that the backs are on their lowest setting so must be 80mm all round?

I dont see all the fuss about being that low....i've scraped once...and that was when i had 4 people and boot full of gear (took a chunk out of the hump!)

Being a bready, I'd be inclined to say those wheels will poke way too much for your back arches.

really? 5.5 with offset of somewhere near 35-38

id say they'd tuck better than the 6j ET38 that i had before?

where have you got the offset figure from? being that they are rwd ford fitment i wouldnt have thought the offset would be as high as et35. I sold a 6j set of those wheels yestereday, proper cool wheels, just a shame they are 108 pcd. still on the other hand in scruffy nick you can buy them for £20

I don't know numbers, but RWD ford is a pretty much hubface towards the middle/back of the rim and mk2/3 polo is the opposite.

Revolution do a wheel with a 4x100 pcd mate, very similar to the rs2k wheels your looking at..

would you say mine is 80mm as well? Had a lot more gap than my old worn out kit which the original owner said my car was lowered by.

Brand new philj kit fitted early oct (bought from a forum member), 165/65/13 tyres. On the middle notch on the rear.
