MK1 Golf 2.0 16V ABF, Mars Red, Ronal Turbos, Tan Leather

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Looking to sell the MK1 which I am gutted about but I've been using it as a daily and want something a little more refined now.

Its a 1982 LHD shell with a MK3 2.0 16V ABF engine in.

Had it rolling roaded a few months ago and printout to show 157bhp.

This car is rapid.

It is lowered on coilovers and sat on some immaculate ronal turbos with brand new tyres.

The car itself is in great condition with no rot, original underseal present in places

The paintwork could do with a little tlc (29 years old) but polishes up well and still looks great parked at the shows

The engine starts first time every time and runs amazingly well. Pulls like a train and sounds great.

It has a nice cd player and vibe sub and amp aswell as front and rear speakers.

I have put Alfa GTV Momo tan leather front seats in and have the rear bench to match, the headlining is in great condition.

The car has crosshair headlights and original bumpers, fronts have washer jets in which are super rare.

I have a huge folder of history about the car, including the build thread and a bunch of other receipts etc

Car will have 12 months MOT and Tax till end of Jan.

Car is on logbook as 1500 so cheaper to Tax and insure, its up to you to change this is you wish!

Here are a couple of pics from last weekend at a christmas cruise I attended. Il get some more up once weather clears up abit
