Featured Replies

Hi everybody! (Sorry for my english, i dont really speak good and dont practice it a lot!)

I'm registered from a long time ago, but never be presented! :-D I hope it's the good section to present my Polo's and myself..

So i'm Nico, 20, i'm from Belgium and i work in a Volkswagen garage! Passionate by Polo 86c since my mother buy her Polo Mk3 "Style" (Special serie for Belgium) there's about 10 years now.. :-)

Well, here's my first Polo, a GT from '91 purchased there 3 years.. I've do a lot of things on it, motor reconditioning and a bit prepared (Full exhaust system Power Sprint stainless steel, intake modified, and i have to put on a modified ecu and a camshaft), 4 Strut bar, Weitec suspension kit, Smoor wheels 7x13 with 175/50 tires, and a looooot of new parts here and there, i pass.. :-)

The day i took her back!

You have a nice selection of cars there!

Thanks guys, I appreciate! Passion dont leave me, I dont intend to stop the collection! :D

Slim.gt > Yep that's right dude, it's my channel! The world is really small! :D

We discuss with the forum Polo-land.fr coming to the Poloshow In July! :D

The red Brace pictured here....

IMG_6115.jpg

Any info on it? Anywhere i could buy one?

Does it go up and over the gearbox mount?

Awesome collection, the GT is lovely.

I was talking to a mate earlier about a leather G wheel <3 Would love one.

I bought it in Germany, at the "Essen Motorshow", it's from the manufacturer Wiechers, really good quality! >> http://www.wiechers-sport.de/

It's fixed at the hum "wishbones fixing" (You understand? :D ) and passes under the exhaust! (This model is for lowered car!)

Not easy to find a leather wheel unfortunately...

Otherwise, thanks for comments! :)

ahh awesome

You haven't by any chance got the part number for it have you? I'm struggling to understand the price list on their site.

Think it might be this one.. 513011 at €55

You can get braces over here, but they hang lower than anything else on the car, useless. Whats the clearance like on it? I'll be pretty low.

Yep, I've only ever seen one leather wheel for sale over here, never seen one on a car i don't think.

Be awesome if you can come to poloshow.. Great to see more cars from across the pond :)

That's the right part number, for 55€! :)

Well, it's placed a little low even so... I have to replace it on my GT, i removed it because of Belgian shit road but will be made with.. :p

In Germany (On Ebay.De for example), there are often for sale!

Yeah! We're motivated! :D

Ahh, cant imagine it being any good on mine then :(

I feel for you, living in Belgium. When i drove through it killed me, caused my exhaust to fall off haha. Even the motorways, your avoiding potholes all the time, shocking.

Cheers for the help dude :)

What car will you be bringing to poloshow if you come?

  • Author

It's Reeeeaaaally painful to have a lowered car here... :|

No prob'! :)

My GT of course! This is my main car for meetings! (And my favourite I think! :p ) But my father is enthusiastic to come with us, so he would come with the G40 satin black/orange striped if he really comes! :D

Hi guys! It's been a while I'm not coming here! :p

I've got a lot of news!

The engine of my last G40 is a bit dead.. Well, it's pisses oil from everywhere (Gauge, G,.. etc) So I bought this fully rebuild and prepared engine! (Camshaft Newman, Oil pump prepared, reinforced valve springs, titanium retainers, lifters Schrick, oil cooler, PowerSprint group A exhaust, etc etc)

IMG_8369.jpg

And (again) this completely and prepared G! :-D

IMG_8360.jpg

IMG_8363.jpg

I wanted to repair and prepared that G best as possible! Engine and G, same for the suspension & brake, etc etc!

A pic's of the G at French meeting "VW Day's"

And the G now, freshly lowered with Weitec suspension pending Bilstein/Eibach..
