Nah they dont, tried 13s on mine wen i had it, would need some big spacers

some mk4's have 13's??

Do the Valvers have a lot bigger brakes then?

I'm sure valvers have bigger brakes than standard?

I tried 2 different 13 insh steels and neither design fitted. The caliper was too big

13" alloys i meant?

Valvers have the bigger 256mm brakes, so require more clearance.

I have a set of revo 4 spokes in 14, and they nearly go over the brakes with 20mm spacers. I think with a careful bit of grinding, they would fit

I've seen a few cowboys on here have grinded away at their calipers to make 13s fit.

my opinion is that to make 13s fit nice you'll have to lower it so much you won't be able to drive it fast and therefore defeating the point Of having a valver...

If you want something to drive "fast" you wont be buying a 1.4 16v polo....

They go reasonably well as a commuter, whatever the traffic speed they'll keep up.

Unless you're 90mm down on 13's, then you're bouncing around all over the place and randomly slowing down..

Yeah i know mikey, tbf i enjoyed mine - just wouldnt call it "fast"

BBS E14 8x13 on my G40, no rubbing, no ginding, 256mm brakes

Only a few wheels (read expensiv) can do it

some motorsport 13's fit check out Heg123's rally 6n thread he has 13s on his with 256mm brakes.
