I'm not sure who was ment to give way in this situation but either way my cars gonna need fixing.

it doesnt look too bad but does anyone have any ideas how much this is likely to cost?

nope only like a month! absolutley hateful..

thanks for that i didnt even know there was a breaking section on here :)

i will most probably be knock for knock, id avoid using your insurance if you have just started driving.

See if you can both part ways fixing your own car.

There maybe damage to the slam panel.

the front end on 6ns can just be unbolted, find a car in a scrap yard which is the same colour and rape it for parts.

Price wise it all depends on what you want your car to look like when your done, and if your lucky finding a whole front end in the red.

haha yeah man was on the fosse this morning

i have a navy blue bonnet and the rad with the bonnet catch on you can have for 20 quid mate

also got front lights here too for an extra 15

where you live mate? try harbury lane breakers, iv got some mad amounts of parts for silly little amounts from there :) if youre not scared of the fosse now aha

Your looking at

New bonnet,

bumper,

Lights

Driver side wing

Indicators

Slam panel

Grill Surround

Bonnet catch

Id also check that your radiator hasnt got any damage on the fins and that both your chassis legs are straight and true, Id also check that theres no body crumpling above the drivers door.

dayum when you put it like that...

I don't think it will be as much work as you think it will be (given that the chassis is okay).

It sounds like a lot but you could easily remove and replace all those in less than a few hours

Gutted. And defiantly avoid claiming at all costs. They will rape you if you try to get another quote.

And as I understand its your priority. But should always make eye contact with the other driver. That's what I was taught anyway

:-D if your taking her to a garage you talking at least £800

much cheaper if your doing it yourself

That will end in a 50:50 if you go though insurance

Shouldn't cost any more than about £150 or so for parts from a scrappies IMO

Times like these its best to be patient and courteous.. Flash the other driver out, they go one way then you go your way, there's no crash and all it took was a few seconds of waiting.

yeah thanks for the advice people, i just rang his insurance company up again and there reviewing the circumstances still....

so yeah I'm guessing 50/50.

I'm gonna go scrappy and have a look but if i find lights and all i need to make sure there the same connector? but obviously i cant get to them on mine cus mu bonnet wont pop, so how do i go about getting that up?

basiclyif you go thru the insurance which ever way it goes I'm pretty sure they will write that off sadly due to age of vehicle and what its worth, insurance will only accept genuine parts for repairs and I'm guessing theres at least an £800 job there, insurance wont value your car at that sort of money wo will be written off, best bet is to stay on at them and fightyour corner and hopefully youl get a decent settlement
