hope mine will be in primer next weekend if all goes to plan.

i did take a pic of the rear boot sticker for you ill up load later

Its the best feeling ever seeing it fresh in the booth with new paint :-).

Thanks for the picture. Its greatly appreciated. Yours will certainly be a quicker turnaround than mine! Mine took circa 3 years. I wasn't exactly going flat out though haha!

Could do with getting the B-Box and M.R.S. together at a show. Maybe even Daryl's too if its completed. I don't know many more Mars Red coupes. There was one that was being broken at the back end of last year, and I haven't seen many others since!

the one being broke is local to me had some bits off him. ye dont think theres many left

I think out of the 3 early colours: Mars Red, Rallye Yellow and Comet Blue, the number of cars left in each of those colours you can probably count on no more than 2 hands!

Since 86C's Rallye Yellow coupe was written off, I only know of 1 now belonging to grungeisdead!

I can only really think of 5 Mars Red coupes, and thats assuming one of them hasn't been scrapped as the owner has gone quiet on the forum. Another one I saw on ebay being offered as spares on a D plate, so whether or not that got broken up remains to be seen!

i was thinking full colour change at one point glad i stayed mars red now :) and to think a week ago it was 50/50 to weigh the lot in for scrap

i dont no if its one of the cars you no of karl but I've still got 1985 mars red coupe s, which has been in my family since 2 years old, have also got a silver one of the same age, I'm going to be breaking the silver car to help restore the mars red coupe and get it back up and running, really didnt know they where that rare, will have to get a thread up

I think, recounting, I've got the total to 8, though some can't be confirmed:

Rob's

Yours

Mine (Back on the road after 3 years)

Daryl's (Undergoing restoration and G40 conversion)

Fastclassics Dan (GT converted)

veedub-90's (Now deceased)

polo d's (Presumed dead, as data doesn't show on DVLA website)

grungeisdead's (Presumed dead, as data doesn't show on DVLA website)

A707 LKL (Presumed dead, as unlicensed since 2010)

This One (Unconfirmed, last seen May '11)

Theres a guy who I saw at Stanford hall who had one which had all the GK multi-point fuel injection goodies under the bonnet to make it as close to European GT spec as possible.

Ebay D plater (Unconfirmed, last seen 18 months ago)

Since 86C's Rallye Yellow coupe was written off, I only know of 1 now belonging to grungeisdead!

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH =[ that was a sad day!

I know of one more, and am waiting patiently for the old boy to die, so I can get my grubby hands on it!

Wonder how many comets are out there!

Also wondered where the B Box had got to, nice to see it resurface still in the same hands!
