Theres a guy who I saw at Stanford hall who had one which had all the GK multi-point fuel injection goodies under the bonnet to make it as close to European GT spec as possible.

picked up a few bits today

nice rust and dent free bootlid and a lot of spares things a moveing along nice

sourced a new sunroof to replace my leaky one not many parts need now :)

this on the road now bro? i saw a red genuine (i think) coupe S in dinas the other day.. was stripped out and had harnesses running on ronals.. any ideas?? :)

nah not me yet. i was talking to a mate over the weekend who sold a mars red s to a local guy who had two more may well be him

i wish i never scrapped mine, but i will get another mk2 coupe one day. and I'm really looking forward to the rest of the build on this one :)

well sourced a sunroof and standard suspention set up so i can sort out my mk1 coilovers.

made rear axle spacers

then mangened to bust my front screen when removing it due to my heavy handed cave man style galss removal

will parts are turning up

frist was a sunroof lovely second hand item from a t25 camper, so no more showers when driving in the rain

nice clean boot lid as mine was full of dents and a bit of rust from number plate screws in the wrong place

finally a set of standard leg to keep the car moving when i tidy up the mk1 coilover setup i fitted in a hurry frist time around

and a box of spares which i picked up with the boot lid

little update stickers have arrived for the pillars and boot lid so having a day sat putting it back together

nothing at all be doing a mk1 rocco for my mate ready for a feature in pvw. to be honest really lost interst in the whole car thing at the mo so the polo sits in a dust unit feeling sorry for it self.
